Saw Focus last Saturday, at the Underground in Lelystad. Another great performance by this great band.
Last time I saw them (which was also the first time I saw them) they had another drummer fill in for Pierre van der Linden. Even though that drummer was amazing as well, Pierre is really something.
The band played mainly 'good old' classics, but a couple of songs from their forthcoming album "Focus X" as well. These new songs sounded really great. Looking forward to the album.
If you're in England, you're lucky as they'll tour the UK next week. :)
It was a good night. They were on great form, the highlight fo me being Sylvia although some of the new material was ok too.
A rather strange venue though, more like a church hall than a Town Hall. Well attended , almost a full house. We took a chance and got tickets on the door rather than pay a booking fee and postage,
