At my local record store, I have come across many progressive rock albums, particularly ELP live albums, but I recently came across the triple album "Welcome Back My Friends To The Show That Never Ends... Ladies and Gentlemen, Emerson, Lake, and Palmer" which is an insane live album. I think that the ownership of one's own production company, like Camel, really shows its great advantages in this release. First off, its a TRIPLE LIVE ALBUM! What other band on a standard label could release something as grandiose as this? They play both Tarkus and Karn Evil 9 in their entirety and more of their brilliant material. Secondly, the packaging is excellent too with special E, L, and P record holding slots. I really wish more bands could go this route.

"Yessongs" is certainly one of the neatest live albums for me to hear, since it contains live versions of the entire CTTE album, which is one of my personal favorite Yes albums.

On the increasingly regular reissues of WBMFTTSTNE,LAGELP* I am always amazed that they have never done it right. Stop splitting Take A Pebble and its accompanying bits and pieces over two discs, they will quite easily fit onto disc one. And please please please add the encore of Pictures At An Exhibition.
Do it right please!!!

I believe in a better world, a brighter world, a world where chickens can cross the road without having their motives questioned.
I have a feeling there's a lot of money to be made by delaying a superb release, or at least by splitting it up in wait for some ultimate edition down the line. I think the Who did that with the super huge deluxe Quadrophenia without a complete 5.1 mix and then they released the 5.1 mix a couple years later, completely separate. Probably making a decent chunk of change too.
