Tracks: Arubaluba [not officially released] White Rider [OTR72] Six Ate [OTR72] Lady Fantasy [OTR72] God Of Light Revisited [OTR72] Freefall [not officially released]
Notes: The title of OTR72 suggests this was recorded somewhere in 1972. However, the cover nor liner notes specify the recording date or venue, but research by got the hump indicates this was recorded on 19 November 1974 (!) at Electric Ladyland. Note that Freefall was probably recorded as well but has not been surfaced yet. Arubaluba was also recorded and appears on most bootleg recordings of this date. More detailed info about this recording can be found in the post below.
Zitat von got the humpA few more details I have about this:
It was broadcast on WQIV-FM in NY, the QIV in their name standing for Quadraphonic 4 channel. WQIV was born in 1974, switching from the classical WNCN, but it was short lived and switched back to WNCN a few years later before finally being replaced with WAXQ in 1993. The WQIV claim to fame was to broadcast in QS-matrix quadraphonic encoded, but later it was admitted that this was a bit of a gimic and a lot of the time the music played was standard stereo. I have tried QS-decoding on both the bootleg and the official release and found nothing to substantiate the quad claim.
Occasionally it circulates with the date listed as 19th December, though November is more common.
It was also broadcast by KSAN for the benefit of west coast listeners, where archive records attributed the recording date as December 16, 1974
