20 years ago, Camel did a (sort of come-back) tour after the release of Dust and Dreams. The 8th of September 1992 they played in Enschede, a city close to where I live. This was my first Camel concert. You'll understand I have very fond memories of this gig, and you'll understand it even more if you listen to the Never Let Go live release, which was recorded at this very gig. I remember it exactly as how that album sounds. Excellent.
I'm certainly going to celebrate this anniversary by giving NLG a couple of spins this week!
Although I saw Camel in the Paradiso/Amsterdam on that tour I always get goosebumps when I play the NLG album, especially the Dust and Dreams part. It was really amazing and energetic. Thanks for the reminder! I will play the album a few times next Saturday as well.
