I've discovered a few years ago, this website and was glad for the artworks and Setlists of Camel, which I found there. Unfortunately, this site has been updated regarding Camel, in February 2010, the last time.
I have then the operator of the website (Fernando from Peru), my self-created artwork (I'm "Aristillus") can come to some bootlegs, so he published there. That's all I wanted.
After Fernando but not replied to my emails and his website was not updated, I had to act.
What to do with my artworks and set list that I wrote for him?
The idea for a small home, which was dealt with bootlegs (artwork and Setlists) of all the progressive rock band was born.
Initially there were only tables that I published. My programming skills are very poor and so also did the first version of pink-camel.de out. Meanwhile, there were two more revised versions.
Because apparently there is no need for this is to become a pure Camel website. And now the biggest Camel database.
I warn everyone to start such a home, because it is one to the other. My homepage has ballooned ever, there are new topics were added (Discography, Tickets, Tour Table) and yet it is not maxed out thematically.
I still have to rely on supporters. I had to work about 1.5 years without any support. Later, I helped with some supporters of the provision of their material. Thank you again!
Did you originally intend to include Pink Floyd as well? Or is there another underlying reason?
Hi Eric,
Anyone else who wants to read the editorial of my homepage, but directly to the content looks great.
Yes, it is as you suspect. The name Pink Camel is already an indication.
I had originally planned to win yet another writer for the website. Those who are familiar with Genesis, Pink Floyd and other progressive rock groups.
But it would not do the work that I do too. Several bands were treated to my homepage, so does the work for me also potentiated, because I have all update into the website.
My dream of an "everything-under-one-roof-website" is probably not feasible.
Zitat von Pink-CamelSome of you probably know the website ferhiga
