This was the second album I ever had, after Mirage, and it left a lasting impact upon me. Although I have a hard time picking one song, my choice is probably \"First Light\", then \"Unevensong\" or \"Metrognome\" or \"One Of These Days I\'ll Get an Early Night\". How about you?

If my heart should vote, then put "Tell me" way ahead, because then I met my first girlfriend to this song. But from a musical view I choose "Metrognome".
Actually for me, an easy one for a change! Unevensong is a superb example of a wonderfully constructed, concise prog classic. Fabulous melodies, beautiful thoughtful lyrics, great time signatures and changes, some superb trademark Latimer guitar work. Also the whole song is so upbeat, it always puts me in a good mood, especially as the last vocals turn into the closing instrumental section. Easily in my top 10 Camel songs.
Yeah I can understand that, the end guitar melodies of "Unevensong" that intertwine with sax (at least in the live version) and keyboards is just awesome. It almost reminds me of "Echoes" from the next album

Ah Echoes, another for the top ten. Some fans point to Breathless as not being up to standard, but how could that possibly be true of an album with a song as monumental as Echoes? :)
Hey everybody is forgetting "One of These Days..." I've never heard a song with such groove enter more perfectly: drums set the groove, simple bass notes follow, smooth electric piano glides as if ice over top, like icing on a cake, and then Mel Collins bursts in with his, excuse my language, "balls-to-the-wall" sax riff.
"Highways of the Sun" seems to be the precursor to "No Easy Answer", except less half-witted ;)
