Does anybody out there have informations of other Camel festival appearances in the 1980s?

I do unterdand the tourtable as a list of concerts Camel played rather if the concerts were part of a tour or not.

So I think the 1980 'Selva festival gig as the 1974 Roskilde gig should be added to the tourtable.
The 1980 Wichjen gig for example was as far as I know not part of a tour and was included in the list.

So please add the 1974 Roskilde festival gig and the 1980 Selva gig to the tourtable.

I think one complete giglist in chronological order is better than a divided one.

Camel Italy 1973

Camel played two Italian dates in 1973 with Van der Graaf Generator and Arthur Brown not listed on the tourtable:

27 MAY 73 Italy, Rome, Stadio Flaminio
28 MAY 73 Italy, Bologna, Palasport

From the Arthur Brown gig on 27-05.1073 there should be a recording.
On one track he is improvisating with Camel. Anybody out there heard of this recording?

There are three new 1972 dates not listed on the tourtable:

11.05.1972 Top Rank, Plymouth, UK,
04.11.1972 Leicester University, Leicester, UK with Argent,
10.11.1972 Free Trade Hall, Manchester, UK as support for Barclay James Harvest.

I have the original stubs in my collection.

I will mail Pink Camel scans of the ticket stubs. Hopefully he will add the scans to his post and to the site of ticket stubs plus the dates to the tourtable.

In 1984 Camel played at the music show "Musik Convoy" the track "Cloak and dagger man". The show was broadcasted by the German TV channel WWF which stands for Westdeutsches Werbefernsehen.
Some of you might have seen the clip on You Tube! Til now I was not sure of the exact date the show was recorded and were it took place.

So it was so that in the afternoon Camel had the show date in Brüggen playing Cloak and dagger man and in the evening they played a concert in Dortmund.


One more riddle is solved!

CAMEL played at the Stadthalle in Stolberg [Germany] on Thursday, 30th September, 1976, in support of the Moonmadness Album. A concert poster from this gig is for sale on EBAY right now!.
If you have enough money, it is a nice poster.
